Fountain Court Chambers is recruiting for the role of Team Leader Assistant. This is an important role in a busy clerking team, which is responsible for delivering an outstanding service to barristers and their clients.
To be considered for the role of Team Leader Assistant you will need demonstrable experience in the following areas:
  • efficient handling of member, client and colleague enquiries
  • effective practice management, including diary bookings· negotiation and agreement of fees
  • allocation of instructions and briefs
  • involvement in the marketing and promotion of chambers
  • day to day management and supervision of more junior Clerking Team members
  • an understanding of the application of the Equality and Diversity code, in respect of duties in clerking members.
Suitable candidates, will be excellent communicators, highly motivated and organised, confident and articulate, with a high degree of attention to detail. You will also need to have excellent time management skills
A competitive salary is offered, in addition to benefits once a successful probationary period of 6 months is completed.
